Serving Strong
"Giving frees us from the familiar territory of our own needs by opening our
mind to the unexplained worlds occupied by the needs of others."
(Barbara Bush)
Your investment has a multiplying effect.

A portion of your coaching fee goes toward meeting needs of people around the
world.  Here is a sample of some of the various ways your dollars are being invested
in others:
Fish, a wonderful source of protein and income, are in
plentiful supply off the coast of the Philippine islands, in
the inland rivers and lakes of Angola, and in the Black
many hungry families have no way to catch them. Our
gift provides an impoverished family with equipment
such as a fishing pole, hooks and lines, a fishing
basket — and the satisfaction of putting food on their
own table.

One in three children in New York City lives in poverty,
making it the most impoverished rich city in the nation.
Every day these children face the realities of drugs,
crime, social injustice, and poor education. Our gift
provides practical help through resources like brand-
new clothing, diapers, blankets, household and
personal care items, and even toys for Christmas —
often the only gift a child will receive.
Thanks to
corporate donations, our gift multiplies 13 times to
inspire hope in the hearts of those in need
!

We make a sound investment in the life of a Peruvian
or Ecuadorian family by giving one share of an easy-
care alpaca. With a lifespan of up to 25 years, alpacas
are hardy animals. Their soft, highly prized wool — up
to 12 pounds a year per animal — fetches high prices
and can be woven into essential clothing and
household items like blankets and rugs. Plus, they help
combat deforestation and aggressive farming
techniques that have caused erosion and threatened
community water supplies. While grazing, these gentle
animals "mow" grass rather than uprooting it, and
their soft, padded feet protect pastures rather than
trampling them.

A pig is fat with promise and opportunity: one sow can
produce 20 babies a year, and within six months a
piglet can weigh 200 pounds — and fetch a hefty price
at the market. Our gift provides one share of a pig to
boost family incomes and provide plenty of protein for
undernourished children.

......And the list of giving back ideas never ends
because the needs of others never ends.
